Marieke van Rooyen Attorneys
Marieke van Rooyen graduated from the University Stellenbosch with BA, LLB and LLM degrees. In her Master of Laws degree she specialised in Labour Law, Constitutional Law and International Commercial Arbitration. She is a practising attorney with 19 years’ experience.
In her practice she specialises in Labour Law, Family Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is a long-serving Senior Commissioner of the CCMA and various Bargaining Councils.
She is a specialist in discrimination matters, including sexual harassment. With a keen interest in alternative dispute resolution, she is also a trained mediator in labour-, family- and commercial disputes. She is an accredited skills assessor and learning facilitator.
